What to include in your request
For an extended rental, crew size, shifts and service access can change over time. Share the projected dates and expected use so a recurring service plan can be discussed alongside the equipment.
Your planning checklist
- Confirm the billing cycle, included service visits and consumables.
- Discuss restocking and additional service if usage increases.
- Provide gate rules and a contact who can unlock the site.
- Get extension, relocation, cancellation and off-hire instructions in writing.
Placement and access
Review the setup when staffing changes or construction moves into another phase. Keep the servicing route usable, and do not move equipment yourself without the provider’s agreement. An estimated end date should not be treated as automatic cancellation.
